“ Omg!!! Thisss place!! Say you have a little piece of Mexico in Long Branch!! As you enter it's very colorful, clean and clear!! The art on the wall make you feel as you've stepped into a cantina in the zona rosa - or the best taco place in your local area!!! The moment we walked in we were greeted and immediately attended. We ordered horchata - A BIG ONE!! Lol!! And it was very big- but very delicious!!! They also served chips with salsa verde and spicy red one too - which are made in the restaurant.- and ALL snacks are as well! We ordered the sopa de camarones ranchera , sopes, guarachas; ALL made to perfection and very generous portions !! The soup must have had 20 super big and fresh shrimp well seasoned and flavored- with diced onions, lemon and tortilla to season at your desire!! Sopes and guaraches delicious- with plenty of beans. Cheese, cream and chicken!!! Enough to take home!!! The menu is a bit overwhelming but I can tell with The dishes we ordered and the dishes that we saw other tables order - everything. I mean EVERYTHING is good!! :) Price - all for 36.00!! Can't beat that goodness for that price!!! Will be returning!! And you should try too!! Buen provecho!!! ”
“ I stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a place to have a beer and catch up with a friend. Alas they did not have any beer, but they did have Mexican Coke in bottles and chips and guacamole, which is almost as good. So we grabbed a couple of cold bottles out of the cooler and sat down. The chips showed up quickly and were the real deal, fried flour tortillas, perfectly crispy. And the guacamole was chunky and flavorful. I wasn't going to eat in front of my friend, but I knew I had to try the real food so I ordered the salt beef platter to go and took it home with me. The food sat there while we finished our cokes and then sat in my car for another 20 minutes while I drove home. But I got home, opened the container and caught a delicious whiff of salt beef over orange rice with grilled jalapeño and spring onions. There portion is incredibly generous and the salt beef is perfect. Thin, salty with just enough tooth that you know you're not eating some fancy upmarket version, but the real thing. If it was that good 40 minutes later, I can't imagine how good it is fresh in the restaurant. I'll be back soon to test it out. And if you're ever in Long Branch jump at the opportunity to go there yourself. ”

“ Excellent food! The green salsa was perfect flavor and spiciness. We got the beef nachos...which included beans, cheese etc...great distribution of toppings on every chip. We also got the gringas and sopes. Both meals were awesome and great portions!! I'd definitely recommend the food...a great stop after a day at the beach! ”
“ Ordered sopes... One asada and one chorizo with horchata. I really miss California mexican food but I've been trying little places here and there. None have been good and quite a few should be ashamed that they call their food Mexican food. This is the first Mexican food I've had since I moved out here a year ago that was delicious. The vegetables were crisp, the meat tender and so flavorful, and they use real Queso blanco!! Also for 2 sopes and a drink only $7.00 and they were huge! I could only eat one of them. Two barely fit on a dinner plate together. This is my spot now. :D I'll post the pictures of the sopes as well. ”
“ Love this little restaurant! I've eaten here twice. It's has about 12 tables. I love the chicken soup. It's a huge, rustic type of chicken soup-chunks of potatoes, corn on the cob, chicken on the bone, etc.DELICIOUS. Big enough for a meal. Guacomole is made fresh = Delicious. Both times I got dinners to go because the food is delicious & inexpensive. I don't live in the area but anytime I'm down that way, I'll be sure to stop for lunch or dinner or get take out. I was very pleasantly surprised. ”
